In July, Evan Blass revealed that HTC will launch a new smartphone called Desire 10 which is expected to be the liter variant of HTC 10. Now we got the few more details of the two devices under the Desire 10 series – HTC Desire 10 Pro and Desire 10 Lifestyle. As seen with the HTC 10 Lifestyle, the Desire 10 Lifestyle also comes with less powerful specifications when compared to Desire 10 Pro. Both the smartphones run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based HTC Sense UI on top. Once the Android 7.0 Nougat is released, we can also expect the company to upgrade both these devices to the latest version of Android.

Apart from the above featured image, there is no other information about the HTC Desire 10 Pro. Whereas we got some important specifications of the Desire 10 Lifestyle. The Desire 10 Lifestyle comes with a Gold trim on the frame along with the camera module and hardware buttons. Even the antenna bands are in golden color though the device will be available several other colors including White and Black. It sports a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and comes powered by an unknown Snapdragon quad-core chipset.

It is said to be launched in two variants – 2GB RAM + 16GB storage & 3GB RAM + 32GB storage. There will also be a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion. It expected to feature a 13MP rear camera with single LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies. Both the camera sensors can record 1080p resolution videos. The Boomsound speakers with 24-bit audio system take care of the Hi-Fi sound on this device. The high quality headset is said to be offered within the package.

Rest of the specifications are unknown, but we expect the device to come with dual SIM dual standby support in selected markets including India. It should support 4G LTE along with VoLTE for HD calling. There is no information regarding the pricing of the devices. Both the Desire 10 Pro and Desire 10 Lifestyle are expected to launch in September, and we guess the date as September 20th as seen on the leaked images. HTC will also launch two Nexus device codenamed Sailfish and Marlin this year.

Both these upcoming Nexus device will run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Recently there are many rumors about the Nexus Sailfish and we already got the first looks with the leaked images. It will be powered by new Snapdragon 821 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM. It sports a 5-inch display with Full HD resolution whereas the Marlin features a bigger display. Stay tuned for more updates!
