Infiniz Hot 4 X556 with 2GB RAM & Android 6.0 Marshmallow Leaked
Infinix Mobility is the affordable smartphone maker that had good market share in African countries including Nigeria, Kenya, and others. It also won the “best smartphone brand of the year” award for 2015 in Nigeria. The Hot 3 (X554) and Hot 2 (X510) from the Hot series are the best selling devices from the brand. Last month it also debuted the smart wearable category by launching the X-band smartwatch which looks same as the Huawei TalkBand B2. It can also be used as Bluetooth headset for answering calls.
Now a new smartphone is spotted on Geekbench with the model number X556. As seen with the earlier devices, the X556 might be called as the Infinix Hot 4. It will be the successor to Infinix Hot 3 that was launched in April this year. The new X556 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with the customized XUI laid on top. It will be powered by the MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor clocked at 1.25GHz and coupled with 2GB of RAM.
The Hot 4 might also include 16GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion. It might also sport the same 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display as on the Hot 3. Apart from this, there is no other information available regarding the device. Talking about the Infinix Hot 3, it came with an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. It is also made available in 1GB RAM variant with the same 16GB of internal storage.
The Hot 3 is backed by a 3,000mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The recently launched Infinix Hot S also sports the similar specifications but with features a smaller 5.2-inch HD display. Under the hood, the Hot S is powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor and coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. There is a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion additionally upto 128GB. Unlike the earlier mentioned devices, we can see better camera sensors on Hot S; there is a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera on the front.
It is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery. On the back of this metal build device is the fingerprint sensor that can also be used to capture images in the camera app. Connectivity options on the Hot S include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB OTG, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. While the Hot 4 X556 will be launched with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, the Hot S came with Android 5.1 Lollipop.
