Intex Aqua Q8 Smartphone Launched with 1GB RAM & 1650mAh Battery

Intex has announced another device called as Intex Aqua Q8 which is an addition to the famous Aqua series. This new device will be budget oriented device that will be going for sale at a price of Rs. 4,200 in India. Recently Intex launched Cloud S9 and Craze 2 smartphones while it also released few feature phones like Intex Eco 2400, Intex In-Sturdy, Intex In-Trif and Intex In-Stun.

To power the Intex Aqua Q8, there is a Quad-core 1.2 GHz, Spreadtrum SC7731C processor, coupled with 1 GB of RAM and Malli 400 GPU. The on-board memory on this handset is 8GB. Which can be further extended up to a maximum of 32GB via microSD card slot? The device will be available in Champagne, Black, and White color variants.

There is a 4.5-inch IPS LCD screen with 854 x 480 pixels resolutions giving a pixel density of 218 PPI. On the back, there is a 1650 mAh battery that provides a talk time up to 10 hours and standby of up to 300 hours. The device comes out of the box with Marshmallow 6.0 and might also get further updates in the future.

The Intex Aqua Q8 comes with a 5MP camera on the rear with LED flash with features like Panorama Mode, Gif. Smile Shot, Face Beauty and can record HD videos at 30 frames per second. There are also the connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11/b/g/n, A-GPS, GPS, Micro USB 2.0 but 4G connectivity is not available. There are sensors like Accelerometer, Proximity, Ambient light sensor and Magnetometer.

At the price of Rs 4,200, this device looks decent enough, but there are many other devices in the similar price range like, Lenovo A2010, Micromax Canvas A1, Samsung Tizen Z3. Infocus M260, Xolo Era 4G, Asus Zenfone Go and Lava P7.

Well, Intex has been striving hard to compete against some bigger brands in the market and has been constantly releasing budget segment devices.
