Meizu M5 Smartphone with 2GB RAM & 13MP Camera Leaked
Meizu has launched quite a few smartphones in this year including the offline exclusive devices like Meizu U10 and U20. Today a new smartphone codenamed Meizu M5 is spotted on Weibo. It comes with a polycarbonate shell and might come with an affordable price tag. Even the specifications of the device are pretty basic. It has scored just 40,140 on the Antutu benchmarking app. Just like the other Meizu smartphones, there is an oval shaped mBack home button that supports several gestures. It has rounded corners with a 2.5D glass on the front.
The device runs on the Flyme OS based on Alibaba’s Yun OS 5.1.1. Alibaba is also one of the investors in the Meizu and also launched few Yun OS powered smartphones earlier to this. However, these are only limited to just Chinese market while few of the Android powered devices are sold in foreign markets like India. It might sport a 5.5-inch display with just HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and coupled with Mali T860 GPU.
It packs 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be expandable with the provided MicroSD card slot. There is a 13MP camera on the back of the device. There is no other information about the device, but we can expect it to be launched soon at least in China. The Meizu M3 that was launched in China in the first half of 2016 also came with the similar specifications. While the Meizu M3 lacks the fingerprint sensor, the company might add that to the Meizu M5.
