Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro with 6GB RAM & 4000mAh Battery Measures just 6.9mm Thick

Samsung will be launching the new Galaxy C9 and Galaxy C9 Pro smartphone later today in China. The leaks already revealed pretty much everything about the devices. Just hours before the official launch, the Galaxy C9 Pro listing is found online. As mentioned earlier, the Galaxy C9 Pro will be the company’s first smartphone to feature 6GB of RAM. A few months back, there are many rumors that the Galaxy Note 7 will be launched in China with 6GB of RAM, but Samsung indeed came with just 4GB of RAM. It comes in Gold and Rose Gold color options and is priced at 3199 Yuan (approx $474 / Rs. 31,700).

On the back, we can find the refreshed antenna band design that looks similar to the OPPO R9s and R9s Plus smartphones that are made officially earlier this week. The stereo speakers placed on the top and bottom of the device offers a great audio experience. It comes with a unibody design built out of Aluminum. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the with TouchWiz UI laid on top. It sports a 6-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 653 octa-core processor clocked at 1.95GHz and coupled with Adreno 510 GPU.

The device comes 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded upto 256GB via MicroSD card slot. It comes with 16MP camera sensors with f/1.9 aperture placed on front and back of the device. The rear camera additionally comes with LED flash and PDAF. With a large display and powerful specifications, the device is backed by a 4,000mAh battery and also supports Quick Charge for fast charging. The physical home button on the front comes integrated with the fingerprint which can be used for Samsung Pay mobile payments. It measures 162.9 x 80.7 x 6.9 mm and weighs just 189 grams even with such a huge battery.

It is dual SIM device with dual standby support and offers 4G VoLTE for making HD voice calls. The Cirrus Logic Codec along with Samsung’s in-house sound technology offers HiFi sound output. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. It is currently available for pre-order, and the shipping starts from November 11th.
