Honor Fitness Band A2 with Heart Rate Sensor, OLED Display launched at $30
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
Honor had launched a bunch of products this week that includes the Honor 6A Smartphone & Play Pad 2 Tablet but what has caught my attention is the new Fitness Band that not just looks slick but also comes packed with the minimum required features on a tracker.
We have been looking out for the most affordable fitness sensors that come with a decent display & a heart rate sensor giving you the data any normal person needs. Here comes the Honor‘s A2 Band that offers you this at a price of 199 yuan in China roughly translating to $30. The band will be available from June 9th but will be limited only in China and there is no information if the brand will be launching this in other countries or not. This is an upgrade to their last years model with a 0.96-inch OLED touch display along with a strap that’s water resistant. The product will be coming in various patterns and colors & is Bluetooth-compatible.
Important features include the pedometer, sleep tracker, exercise tracker, and sedentary reminder. The band comes with IP67 water and dust certification and you can also get alerts if you have been sitting for a longer period to get active. The OLED display gives you alerts for phone calls & text messages and you can dismiss or mute them depending on the action you want to take. Interestingly the predecessor i.e. A1 was launched at half the price of just $15 but then it had its own limitations especially the No Display. In India, they had launched the Honor Band Z1 that had the Smartwatch looks & it never saw the huge demand.
Right now the product is available for Pre-register with a deposit of 1 yuan on vmall.com where you can register and block your unit before June 9th. The product comes with App support for both Android & iOS while the users can download the apps from the respective app stores. We really hope the brand brings this product in India before the Fitbit Smartwatch is launched.
