You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

After Jio 4G services, Reliance Jio is now all set to launch it’s JioFiber services. The company was said to have been working on testing this out which we had covered earlier. And now according to the new reports which we have, it looks like the company is finally ready to launch the service commercially to the consumers across the country. It looks like we will be seeing the launch of this service around Diwali and that too we are expecting them to unveil this with a ton of exciting new offers just like they did with the Jio 4G services.

According to the reports, it looks like the base pack will likely start from 500 INR for which 100GB of data will be offered. Now, these numbers are crazy considering the fact the competitions are offering half of that for double the rate. Jio will truly win the market which this is what they come up with. According to the source, Jio is likely to offer the free trial of the same in select cities across the country. Under this free trail, they will be reportedly offering about 100GB of free data for three months.

As mentioned earlier, Jio will be rolling out this service commercially in the month of September or October i.e around the time of Diwali. The service is capable of delivering a stable speed of 100Mbps. Currently, the services are being rolled out in at least ten large cities which includes all the metros in addition to Noida and Gurgaon. It has been reported that the company plans to connect 100 locations by the year end, which would be interesting to see if they manage to do so.

The launch of JioFiber could end up being a nightmare to the existing service providers since Jio will try to come up with new plans and offers to disrupt the market. In order to compete with the Jio’s upcoming FTTH service, more and more existing service providers will start offering more data for the same price or cut down the cost of the tariff plans. However, only time will tell, how successful this new service from Jio will be. We suggest you stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more info on the same as we will update once we have more insights on this.
