LG X Venture Smartphone to be available in US starting 26th May

The latest device – LG X venture from LG which was announced a few days back is now ready to go on sale in the US on May 26th. This handset will be the latest addition to the X-series from the company which is almost a year old series now. The X Venture will be exclusively available via AT&T operator and is also a rugged device. AT&T also calls it a stylishly resilient handset. The handset comes with basic specifications and is targeted towards mid-range market.
Under the hood, the X Venture will come with a Snapdragon 435 SoC which will be accompanied by 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage option which can be further extended via microSD card. There is a 16MP rear-facing camera, and it will be accompanied with a 5MP selfie camera with wide-angle capture. The current is to have a dual rear facing camera which is not the case with this budget friendly device, so we need to see how the device will be received in the market.
On the back, to power the handset there is a big 4100 mAh battery which can easily last an entire day on average usage. It also comes with a quick charging battery feature which will allow the device to charge from 0 to 10 percent within two hours. To enhance the security levels of the device, LG has also pushed in a fingerprint scanner which has become mandatory for every smartphone.
The smartphone is IP68 rated for dust and waterproofing, and also MIL-STD 810G rated for the tough exterior making a rugged device. The home button and the capacitive touch buttons will also work with gloves and wet hands making it easier for the customers to use it.
