New Images of Apple iPhone 8 surfaces with Vertical Camera Sensors
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
Apple‘s upcoming iPhone 8 is everywhere in the news now. We have already seen a ton of leaks till now and they just don’t seem to stop anytime soon. By now, you might have seen a lot of leaks of the iPhone 8 with the vertical camera sensors. Adding on to that, we now have a new report which again shows a similar design. This time around, however, these are CAD images. These new images surfaced over the past few days and it includes CAD schematics and also pictures of the dummy iPhone 8 with some sort of protective case on it.
The first set of images shows a CAD schematics of the iPhone 8. As you can see from the images, it has a vertical camera setup where both the dual rear camera setup is laid out one below the other. Do make a note that these are not the images of the final product. They could be the CAD images of what idea Apple initially had for the iPhone 8 in mind. At the back, the round circle which you see is actually for the Apple logo and not the touchID sensor.
As of now, we have been hearing a ton of different options from Apple on the placement of the touchID sensor. It has been reported that it will be embedded on the front with the display itself. However, it looks like Apple is having a hard time figuring it out and making it work. This was the same case with Samsung as well, where it was expected that the fingerprint scanner will be embedded on the front with the display. However, since the company couldn’t get it to work on time, we now have it on an awkwardly placed position at the back of the Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus.
Having said that, it is yet to be seen if Apple will place the touchID at the back of the device or on the front under the display. However, one thing which we have been seeing consistently is the vertical camera setup. Hence it does looks like we will be seeing a vertical camera setup. The back of the device is said to be made of glass which means we will also be able to charge the device wirelessly. With that said, we suggest you patiently wait for some more leaks on this as we move closer to the launch date of the smartphone.
