Last week, Honor has launched the Honor 9i smartphone in India with the 18:9 display and four cameras. The company also announced to launch the Honor 7X smartphone in China on October 11th. Just like the Honor 9i, the Honor 7X also sports the Full View display on the front offering 18:9 aspect ratio. The Honor 9i is the actually the rebranded Huawei Nova 2i which was launched earlier this month in Malaysia. Talking about the Honor 7X, it will come with a unibody metal design and 2.5D curved glass laid on top.
The front of the Honor 7X looks similar to the Honor 9i, but misses the secondary front camera and LED flash. Just like the Honor 8 Pro, the dual rear cameras and LED flash on the Honor 7X sits on the top antenna line. We can also spot the circular fingerprint sensor on the rear of the device. It comes with a 5.93-inch display with Full HD+ (2160 × 1080 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. On the rear of the device is the 16MP + 2MP dual camera setup as seen on the Honor 9i. Coming to the front, there is only an 8MP single camera sensor for selfies. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box with the EMUI 5.1 laid on top. The Honor 7X also supports dual SIM dual standby using the hybrid SIM card slot. It measures 156.5 x 75.3 x 7.6 mm and weighs 165 grams.
While the Honor 9i came with a 3,340mAh non-removable battery, the upcoming Honor 7X sports a slightly smaller 3,240mAh battery. It will be available in Black, Gold, and Blue color options.
