Honor 7S Smartphone with 5.45″ 18:9 Display & Face Unlock Leaked
In the past couple of months, we have seen two new budget smartphones from Honor with 18:9 displays. The Honor 7A and Honor 7C are now launched in China and Europe. In the coming weeks, the company is also expected to launch these two devices in the Indian market. Now, a new entry-level smartphone called Honor 7S leaked with an 18:9 display. The Honor 7S will now replace the Honor 7A as the cheapest 18:9 smartphone from Honor.
The device comes with a polycarbonate body and sports relatively thick bezels compared to high-end 18:9 smartphones. Considering the cheaper price tag, Honor is replacing the fingerprint sensor with the face unlock. Talking about the specifications, the Honor 7S comes with a 5.45-inch IPS display withHD+ (1440 x 720) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It will come powered by the 64-bit MediaTek MT6739 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.
It comes with 16GB of internal storage that can be further expanded using a dedicated MicroSD card slot. In the camera department, the Honor 7S comes with a 13MP camera on the rear and a 5MP camera on the front. Both the cameras seem to offer LED flash for better photos and videos even in low light conditions.
The device supports dual SIM dual standby with the triple card slot and offers 4G VoLTE connectivity. It runs on the Android 8.0 Oreo-based EMUI 8.0 out of the box. The device will be kept powered on by a 3,020mAh battery and there will be no fast charging support. It will be measuring 8.3mm thick and weighs around 142 grams.
As of now, there is no information about the pricing or the availability of the Honor 7S smartphone. While the device will be officially unveiled soon in Europe, the Indian launch might happen in the coming weeks. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details!
