New Flagship Smartphone Coming from HTC on May 23rd

HTC is long rumored to launch the HTC 12 and HTC 12+ smartphones, the successors to the last year’s HTC U11 and HTC U11+. There are already several leaks about these upcoming flagship smartphones from HTC. Today, the company posted a new teaser image confirming the launch event of its 2018 flagship smartphone on may 23rd.

While we expect to see both the HTC U12 and U12+ smartphones, the company might actually come up only with the HTC 12+. Based on the leaks, the HTC U12 comes with a single rear camera and dual front cameras. On the other hand, the HTC U12+ is said to offer dual cameras on the front and rear. From the above-featured image, we can see total four camera sensors.

Along with the HTC u21+, there are also chances to see the HTC U12 on the launch stage. With the HTC 12 smartphones, the company will be introducing the second-gen edge sense technology. The devices also come with the MicroSD card slot for storage expansion. Based on the leaks, the HTC U12+ will be coming a 6-inch Quad HD+ display and Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor.

It will be offering up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. There will be 12MP + 16MP dual camera setup on the rear and 8MP + 8MP dual camera setup on the front. Apart from the screen size and rear camera, we don’t expect to see major changes in the HTC U12 and U12+ smartphones.
