Smartron t.band Launched – Top 5 Features & Giveaway

Smartron is the youngest local brand in the Indian smartphone segment. Previously, we have also seen Smartron branded 2-in-1 laptop called t.book. Now, the company debuts the wearable market by launching the high-end fitness tracker called t.band. It comes with steel body and is also water and dust resistant. The t.band is also compatible with Apple Health and Google fit apps. It comes with a price tag of Rs. 4,999 and will be available exclusively on Flipkart later this month.

1. Health Index

Unlike the affordable fitness tracker which only offer heart rate data and steps count, the Smartron t.band will offer Health index that considers overall parameters like steps count, heart rate variability, sleep efficiency, blood pressure (PWTT), stress, and fatigue. Users can sync the data with their smartphone using the t.health app available on Google Play Store and Apple Appl Store.

2. Electrocardiography (ECG)

The Smartron t.band is one of the affordable fitness bands to offers ECG data. When synced with the smartphones, the users can also get the ECG graph. The t.band shows the fatigue & mental stress levels for better insight into the user’s health.

3. Blood Pressure Reading

The heart-rate sensors are now offered even with fitness bands priced around Rs. 2,000. The new Smartron t.band gets better over the competition by offering the blood pressure reading. The t.band comes with the PWTT (Pulse Wave Transmit Time) technology to give this BP reading.

4. Sleep Monitoring

The sleep monitoring is now becoming one of the important features of the smart fitness bands. The t.band can accurately track both the sleep duration and sleep quality. For the overall health index, the t.health app also includes the sleep data. The user can also set alarms using the app.

5. Exercise Mode

The exercise mode is not available in the cheaper fitness bands. The t.band not only comes with the exercise mode, it can do this task independently without the need of carrying a smartphone. Once the data is synced with the app, the user can also get the heart rate and pace graphs.
