Vivo X21i with 19:9 AMOLED Display & IRIS Scanner Gets TENAA Certified
In the coming weeks, Vivo will be launching the Vivo X21 smartphone with in-display fingerprint sensor in India. Now, the company seems to bring an affordable variant called Vivo V21i. Just a day after the Vivo X21i is listed on Geekbench, it is now certified by TENAA in China. Along with the first look, we now have the complete specifications of the device. However, we need to wait until the official launch to know the pricing and availability details.
The Vivo X21 comes with a glossy finish body with metal frame. On the front is a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with a notch on the top. It comes with Full HD+ (2280 x 108 pixels) resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. According to the Geekbench listing, the Vivo X21i will be powered by the MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor. The earlier OPPO F7 is the first smartphone to come with the Helio P60 chipset.
There will be 6GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. The device will be running on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Coming to the camera department, there will be a 12MP + 5MP dual camera setup on the rear and a single 24MP selfie camera on the front. The device will be coming with a rear-facing fingerprint sensor. Additionally, the Vivo X21i also sports IRIS scanner on the front for secure authentication.
It will be backed by a 3,170mAh battery and might support fast charging technology. The device measures 154.37 × 74.98 × 6.99 mm and weighs 159 grams. The TENAA listing mentioned the Vivo X21i to be available in Champagne Gold, Rose Gold, Matte Black color options. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
