Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Leaked with 6000mAh Battery, Might Launch Soon in China

Last year, Xiaomi launched the Mi Pad 3 with the 7.9-inch retina display and metal body. It is just a minor upgrade over the Mi Pad 2 and even its availability is limited to China. In the coming weeks, the company is expected to launch the Mi Pad 4 as the successor to Mi Pad 3. As of now, there is no official confirmation of the Mi Pad 4 launch. It was recently spotted on Chinese 3C certification website.

Just like its predecessor, the new Mi Pad 4 also comes with 5V/2A charging input. While the Mi Pad 2 came with a 6,600mAh battery, the upcoming Mi Pad 4 is rumored to feature a smaller 6,000mAh battery. It was even spotted on the FCC website with the model number M1806D9W. The tablet will be coming with both 2.4GHz and 5GHz  Wi-Fi support. Looking at the trend, we also expect the company to launch the LTE variant.

Based on the latest leaks, the Mi pad along with Mi Max 3 and Redmi 6 Plus are expected to be launched in July in China. Since there is no trusted source backing this information, take them with a pinch of salt. The Mi Max 3 is now rumored to come with a 6.99-inch 18:9 display and 5,000mAh battery. On the other hand, the Redmi 6 Plus will be company’s most affordable smartphone with the notch display.

Last month, the company for the first time embraced the notch design by launching the Mi 8 and Mi 8 SE smartphones. Talking about the Mi Pad 4, the company might restrict its availability just to its home country. While Apple has occupied the majority of the premium segment in the tablets category, the low-cost Android tablets have been the best sellers in the emerging markets like India.
