Gionee to Launch new Smartphone Under S-Series in India on August 22nd

Gionee is expected to launch Gionee M6 and M6 Plus smartphones in India. Both the devices are officially launched last month in China. But the company is planning to bring new smartphone under the S series in India. The official launch event will be held on August 22nd in New Delhi, India. As of there is information about the device, but the #SelfieWithFlash reveals the device to feature front facing LED flash.

The Gionee S8 that was unveiled at the MWC 2016 in February is not yet made available in India. But it lacks the front facing LED flash. However, if the company comes with Gionee S8, it will be the first 3D Touch Android smartphone to launch in India. Though there are no Android apps that work with 3D Touch features, it can usage will be limited to just system apps like gallery and music player.
