LeEco Launches Cool1 Dual Smartphone with 13MP Dual Rear Cameras

LeEco had recently bought the controlling stake in Coolpad, one of the largest OEM in China. In 2014, the company stood at 7th position in the list of world’s largest smartphone manufacturers. With the fierce competition in the smartphone industry, the company’s market share has fallen behind the new entrants in the Chinse smartphone industry. Recently, LeEco also has acquired the America’s largest TV maker, Vizio for $2 Billion.

Coolpad is known for launching the first dual SIM mobile phone in China and also the first GSM & CDMA dual SIM dual standby phone. Apart from Coolpad, te company also launches smartphones under the Dazen and Ivvi. As announced earlier, today Coolpad under LeEco launched its latest flagship smartphone called Cool1 Dual. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with LeEco’s EUI skin on top.

The Cool1 Dual comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution display. While the device is rumored to be powered by Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor, it actually comes with Snapdragon 652 (MSM8976) octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 510 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. In the camera department, there is a 13MP dual rear camera with dual tone LED flash and 6P lens, while on the front is a 5MP selfie camera.

It is backed by a 4,060mAh non-removable battery and also supports reverse charging. The fingerprint sensor on the back is said to unlock in just 0.15 seconds. Apart from unlocking the device, it can also be used to capture images in the camera app. It comes with dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G VoLTE on both the SIMs.
