Meizu M3E with Helio P10 SoC & YunOS Launched in China
Meizu launched its first smartphone Meizu M3E under the new E-series in China. Apart from minor changes, the device looks similar to the recently launched Meizu MX6. After the Meizu M3, this is the second smartphone from Meizu in 2016 to come with YunOS. Along with smartphones, Alibaba’s YunOS also powers the smart automobiles, IoT, and others. The device comes with unibody Aluminum body with a 2.5D glass on the front.
It comes with a 5.5-inch IPS display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is MediaTek Helio P10 SoC coupled with 2GB/3GB of RAM. The 2GB RAM variant sports 16GB of storage while the 3GB RAM variant includes 32Gb of internal storage. There is also a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion upto 128GB. The device runs on latest Flyme 5.2.2 UI based on YunOS.
In the camera department, there is a 13MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies. The Meizu M3E is kept powered on by a 4,000mAh non-removable battery that can give more than a day of usage.
