Samsung Galaxy S8 to Feature Dual Rear Camera Setup – Launching in Feb 2017

Samsung Galaxy S9 2018

Just after the launch of the Galaxy Note 7, we have now started seeing some of the leaks for the upcoming flagship device for Samsung for the year 2017. Yes, it is none other than the Galaxy S8. This might be too early for the leaks for this device as of now, but since it’s going to be one of the biggest announcement for next, we can’t really ignore them. So let’s see what we have here.

So one of the most important reports which we have here is the Dual rear camera set up that this device is going to feature. Yes, s finally Samsung is putting an end to all the speculation around the dual rear camera setup. This year we saw a bunch of devices with this dual rear camera setup, and we were wondering where is Samsung’s implementation. Apparently, we will be seeing it next year with this flagship. So eventually, the S8/Edge variants will have a total of 4 cameras. On the front, we will have the same front facing camera and the Iris scanner set up which we saw from the Galaxy Note 7 this year. And at the back, as it is mentioned it will sport a dual-camera setup.

Also, in addition to the Dual rear camera setup, we will also see a 4K display on the front. So essentially, this will a 4K resolution display, and the UI will allow adjusting the output resolution accordingly. This is going to be a neat feature as it will allow users to switch to 4K on the go. So if you don’t want your battery to die quickly, then to prevent that, you can switch to the 2K resolution on the go.

So with all these new rumours and leaks coming in for the device, we can’t wait to see what the company is going to unveil next year already. The device is expected to launch in the month of February 2017. However, if you want to know more about the device then stay tuned to Phone Radar as we will update the thread once we have more info.
