Sony Xperia X Compact’s First Photo reveals Basic Details, may launch at IFA 2016

Sony Xperia X Compact

Sony hasn’t been quite active this year when it comes to being aggressive with their handsets. It was felt when brand published their Quarterly results, which showcased loss in revenue. That is why we feel like the company has something up its sleeve, maybe at IFA 2016.

In a surprising note, a compact variant o the Xperia X smartphone has shown up online. The leak comes from the Evan Blass, who is on a spree, as earlier today he leaked render of V20, which is slated for IFA week launch. It might be an indication that Sony also has something to show up.

Looking at the image, it might sport similar design as we saw on the Xperia X Line-up launched earlier this year. Sony has been known to launch at least one smartphone at the IFA event in Berlin, and this could be the handset that Sony fans could expect from the Japanese company.

New Sony Xperia Smartphone hinted with 5.2” Full HD Display & USB Type-C Port, IFA Launch

The Xperia X Compact might sport a 1080p display, which should be compact in size, as in 5.2-inch. The company’s track record confers that it would be of the 5.2-inch size and probably sport a fun HD resolution. As for the chipset is concerned, it could be sporting the Snapdragon 820, which is found on Xperia X Performance, the flagship model of the X Series.

Currently, only the image render has been leaked, so no further information regarding whether it would pack 23MP sensor or not. Though, from the images, can be noted that the device would support NFC, as well as would run (at least) on Android Marshmallow based Sony UI.
