Zopo Color C, Color E and Color S5.5 Smartphones Gets Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update
Zopo Mobile, a Chinese smartphone maker who believes in providing the latest software to their users, has now released a major software of Android 6.0 Marshmallow to it’s three Color Series handsets. The device includes Color C, Color E and Color S5.5.
The Chinese handset maker who is expanding in various markets such as India where the company has announced to setup a manufacturing unit in the country with an initial investment of Rs 100 Crore. The mid-range Colour series which was running on the Android Lollipop until now is receiving a major software update.
Note that the devices mentioned needs to be updated through the procedure of flashing as the company hasn’t made OTA available to its users. The files can be downloaded from company’s website on to your PC/Laptop. Then you would have to connect the phone to your system via USB cable and perform flashing.
The company hasn’t listed the change-log of the software update. But users can expect changes in visual design, which is a major modification on Marshmallow. While there are the introduction of features such as Doze mode, which clears the background tasks running on your device and increase the battery capacity.
In related news, Zopo has been taking quite an interest in Indian smartphone as the brand has launched a couple of it’s popular handed and the flagship handset Speed 8 in India, which was announced at MWC in February. The most recent handset launch the by the company includes a Hero 2 smartphone, which is affordably priced at just $69.99 and is available for purchase on Gearbest.
