Gionee P7 Max Smartphone with 5.5” Display & 3GB RAM Launched
Gionee has launched a new device in the P series and it is named as Gionee P7 Max. The device is launched along with Gionee S6 Pro in an event held in Nepal. Gionee has been a reputed smartphone maker and released many devices and the Marathon series has seen a good success due to its massive battery capacities while the S series for their slim built. Few well know devices from this smartphone maker are Gionee S8 Lite, Gionee M6 Plus, Gionee Pioneer P7, Gionee M6, Gionee S5 and few other devices.
The Gionee P7 Max comes with 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolutions giving a pixel density of 267 PPI. This is a dual SIM variant device that will be supporting 4G connectivity which has become a must on every device with the growing technology. Under the hood, there is a MediaTek MT6595 Octa-core processor with a clocking speed of 2.2GHz processor with 3GB RAM PowerVR G6200 Graphics GPU.
To power the P7 Max there is a 3100 mAh battery on the back to power the device. The handset comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow Operating system out of the box with the companies own Amigo 3.2 UI on top. On the camera front, there is a 13 MP camera on the rear with LED flash and comes with the features like Geotagging, Autofocus, HDR, Panorama and is also capable of taking FHD videos at 30fps.
The connectivity options includes GPS, A-GPS, Micro USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetoothv2.0. The device comes with 32 GB internal storage which can be expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. There are sensors like Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor, and Compass which are required for automation of the device.
Gionee has priced the P7 Max for NPR 21,999 (Approx $205) and will be available in Gold and Grey color variants. The handset will be competing against the device like the Motorola Moto G4, Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3, ASUS ZenFone 2, Huawei Honor 5X and Samsung Galaxy J7 which are in the similar price range.
