Pre-order BlackBerry DTEK60 Android Smartphone for $699.99 in Canada
BlackBerry, the Canadian smartphone maker, who recently announced that forward looking their focus would be to generate maximum revenue from Software business. While today they have started the pre-order of their new handset DTEK60. The third Android device from the company was earlier leaked on their website a few days back. Now today the brand has made it official by putting it up for pre-order.
Though, do make a note that it’s available for pre-order on NCIX Canada, but not on company’s official website yet. The listing says that new device from BlackBerry should be available on October 11, 2016. While people who are heading to NCIX USA website, well, don’t log on there yet as you won’t find the device listed, at least for now.

So, if you’re in Canada for some reason or lives there, then you can grab BlackBerry DTEK60, which is the latest iteration and upgrade from DTEK50. The device can be pre-ordered for CAD $699.99 at NCIX. If you are thinking what we are, well, indeed the pricing is on the higher side. Since the company hasn’t officially unveiled the device, it might be just a placeholder.
Talking about the specifications of the device, according to the leaked listing, it sports a 5.5-inch screen with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. The device is supposed to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, which is a Quad-core processor and Adreno 530 GPU. The device will come with a 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

It would be running on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow based interface, which is more like to be a Stock UI. Regarding the camera setup, it has a 21-megapixel rear shooter while on the front it sports an 8-megapixel snapper for a selfie and video calls. All this would be powered by a 3000 mAh capacity battery that will support Quick Charge 3.0. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and USB Type-C port.
Do make a note that it would be sporting a fingerprint sensor as well. If you aren’t aware of the fact, this handset like earlier model DTEK50 would be manufactured by TCL.
