TCL 750 with P10 SoC & 16MP Camera is now available for Yuan 1599

A couple of days back TCL has launched a new smartphone called as TCL 750 which was being rumoured for quite a time now. This device was priced at Yuan 1993 (Approx USD 299) and has been released in China and now it has been spotted online for Yuan 1599 on JD.com.

The TCL 750 will come with 5.2-inch 1080 p touchscreen display and has a fingerprint scanner to enhance the security levels. There is a 16 MP rear facing camera accompanied with 8 MP camera on the front for selfies and video calling. Under the hood, there is an Helio P10 Octa-core processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM and 2800 mAh battery on the back.

The handset will come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box and is a Dual SIM variant. The device is bundled with the set of all the basic sensors and connectivity option but the company has not mentioned about the global roll out of the TCL 750.

TCL is one of the Chinese biggest smartphone manufacturers which also sells smartphones under the Alcatel brand. Alcatel has a decent market share in South America, Latin America and few other markets. A new mid-range smartphone TCL 750 is now listed on TENAA and will be officially launched in the next few days. Recently the company also launched the entry-level TCL Ono P620M with 2GB RAM & 13MP camera priced at just 599 Yuan.

It sports a metallic frame with glass on front and back of the device. The device features a 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display and comes powered by 1.6GHz octa-core processor. If the rumours are to be believed, the TCL 750 will be the first smartphone to include Helio P20 octa-core processor built on 16nm process. There will be 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be further expanded upto 128GB.

The TCL 750 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. In the camera department, it has a 16MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash and an 8MP selfie camera on the front. It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE along with VoLTE support. The device is backed by a 2,710mAh non-removable battery that can at least last for a single day of mixed usage. It measures just 7 mm thickness and feels light by weighing just 138 grams.

It will be launched in White and Gold colour options. From the images, we can also find the fingerprint sensor placed on the rear of the device. The power button along with the SIM card slot are placed on the left edge of the device while the volume rocker is on the right edge. Recently TCL launched the Flash Plus 2 with 5.5-inch Full HD display for selected Asian markets. It comes in 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM variants with 16GB and 32GB storage respectively.

Unlike TCL 750, the Flash Plus 2 comes with an all metal body with a physical home button on the front. It is powered by Helio P10 octa-core processor and packs a 3,000mAh battery with fast charging support. The device comes with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. As of now there is no information about the launch of the Flash Plus 2 in India and we don’t even expect the company to bring TCL 750.
