The Mono smartphone from NTT Docomo announced for 650 yen

The Mono is a new smartphone that has been announced by NTT Docomo. The device is produced by China’s ZTE cooperation and will go on sale from December. The handset is priced at 650 yen which has been omitting the digital management services that are offered by NTT Docomo. The contract for using The Mono is for 12 months, and if the contract is canceled, the customer needs to incur a cancellation fee which could range between 15,000 to 16,000 yen.

The Mono will be available in White and Black color variants and will come out of the box with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The device sports a 4.7-inch display with HD resolution (1920 x 1080) and is protected with TFT Gorilla Glass 3. To power the device, there is a Qualcomm MSM8952 1.GHz (quad-core) + 1.2 GHz (quad-core) processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.

The device comes with 16GB of internal memory which can be extended using a microSD card. There is also a 2440 mAh battery on the back to power the device and gives a standby up to 580 hours on 4G and talk time up to 620 minutes on 4G. The Mono sports a 13.3 MP camera with back illuminated and is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30 fps Moreover; the device is IPX5/7 and IP5X rated for Waterproof and dustproof.

The Mono measures 136 mm x 69 mm x 8.8 mm and weights 138 grams. There are other connectivity options like Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and GPS. There are necessary sensors which are required for automation of a device.
