Vertex Impress In Touch 4G & In Touch 3G Smartphones with Borderless Screen Announced

The UK-based handset maker, Vertex has announced a two new smartphones which is under Impress series called as Vertex Impress In Touch 4G & Vertex In Touch 3G smartphones. These smartphones come with very basic specifications, but interestingly both smartphones are coming with the borderless screen, and we have seen Elephone P9000 Edge, and Meizu MX5. On the same lines, Xiaomi is also expected to come with a borderless screen on Mi Note 2 which is supposed to release on October 25th in China and will also come with the frameless screen on Bluboo Edge smartphone, which is revealed on the Facebook page.

These smartphones are almost very similar, but the only difference is chipsets, the 3G model is powered by MediaTek MT6580 SoC while on the 4G model is packed with a MediaTek MT6737 SoC. Both smartphones support dual SIM dual standby and offer 4G LTE networks. They sport a 5-inch S-IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution that offers a pixel density of 294 PPI and 16.7M colors. Under the hood, the 3G model is equipped with a quad-core processor that clocks at 1.3 GHz paired with Mali 400 GPU. The other hand, the 4G model is powered by a quad-core processor that clocks at 1.25 GHz bundled with Mali T720 GPU.

Both smartphones are coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory that can further be expanded via micro USB port up to 32 GB. These smartphones are running on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with pre-installed applications. The other connectivity options include on the device is the 3G HSDPA, HSUPA, Edge, GPRS, Bluetooth, 3.5 mm audio jack, GPS, A-GPS, Micro USB Port and FM Radio. Both smartphones come with 2.5D curved screen on the front. Powering of the both smartphones are 2400 mAh capacity battery that will produce a battery juice more than a day of usage.

Moving to camera department, these two smartphones packed with a 13MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash which can record videos up to 1080p at 30 frames per second. On the front, they have a 5MP selfie shooter for taking selfies and video calling. Both smartphones will be coming in two color options such as gray & silver and are measuring the same dimensions which are 138 x 68 x 9.5 mm and are weighing around 173 grams. As of now, there is no pricing & availability of the smartphones we will update when it’s available. Recently, the company had introduced the smartphones like Vertex Impress Eagle, Vertex Impress XXL, Vertex Impress Action, Vertex Impress Style, Vertex Impress Moon and Vertex Impress Cult.
