The Chinese manufacturer Nubia has silently unveiled its N1 Lite smartphone which will be the lighter version of the Nubia N1 that was launched earlier. Although the specs of the new device are cut down, the handset still comes with a big 5.5-inch display. The device will be available in Germany (Italy, Spain and the Czech Republic) and will later be available in parts of Asia (India, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia). This entry level device also comes with virtual buttons on the screen, and we can also see the home button with a red circle which we have seen in most of the devices from Nubia.
Coming to the specifications of the handset, the device will come with 5.5” display as mentioned with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and it will be powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor with a clocking speed of 1.5GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM. The onboard memory of the device is 16GB which can be further extended up to 32GB via microSD card slot. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the device to enhance the security levels, and Nubia claims to be fast and gives secured access to the installed application.
There is a 8 MP camera on the rear with f/2.0 aperture, and Dual LED flash which will be supported by a 5 MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calling that also comes with a flash and other features. The device will come out of the box with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and interestingly it will not feature Nubia UI on top providing the stock experience. The pricing of the device is not yet mentioned but we can expect it to be priced less than the Nubia N1. Stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more details on the same, and we will also bring live updates from ongoing MWC.
