Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro to Soon Launch Outside of China
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
Samsung introduced the new Galaxy C series by launching the Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 smartphones in May last year. At that time, the Galaxy C series smartphones are only limited to the Chinese market. But the later launched Galaxy C9 Pro with 6GB RAM is also made available in India. Now, the company is bringing the second-gen Galaxy C series smartphone, Galaxy C7 Pro to Honk Kong. The device was launched in China on January 17th and packs high-end specifications. While the 2017 Galaxy A series smartphone came with a glass back body, now the Galaxy C series is the only option for the users who are looking for a high-end Samsung smartphone with an all-metal body.
The support page of the Galaxy C7 Pro with the model number SM-C7010 is now live. We can expect the device to go on sale soon. Earlier to this, all the new Galaxy C series devices including the Galaxy C5 Pro, C7 Pro, and C9 Pro received the FCC certification. Talking about the specifications of the Galaxy C7 Pro, it sports a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED Always-On display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is the latest Snapdragon 626 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz and coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. The device packs 4GB of RAM and comes in 32GB and 64GB storage variants. There is also a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion using the MicroSD card slot.
In the camera department, there is a 16MP camera with an aperture of f/1.9 on front and back of the device, while only the rear camera comes with a LED flash. It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE along with other basic connectivity options. With the NFC support and fingerprint sensor, the device can be used for payments through Samsung Pay. It measures 156.5 x 77.2 x 7.0 mm and weighs 172 grams. While the Galaxy C7 Pro is already on sale in China, the Galaxy C5 Pro will be made available in China soon. It shares the same design as of Galaxy C7 Pro and comes in smaller form factor.
The Galaxy C9 Pro is already launched in India, and soon we might see both the Galaxy C5 Pro and Galaxy C7 Pro in India. Since the company is not launching its flagship smartphones, Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus at the upcoming MWC 2017, we can expect the Galaxy C series to make its global debut. Instead of the Galaxy S8, the company will be unveiling the Galaxy Tab S3 premium tablet with S Pen support. The press event is scheduled for February 26th, and we will know more information on that day. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details!
