You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

Looking at the current standards in the smartphone industry, we feel the Apple iPhone SE with a 4-inch display might be too small to use. Now, in 2017, we have a new smartphone that can even fit in the coin pocket of your jeans. The all-new Jelly is now listed on Kickstarter and has already achieved its target of $30,000 in no time. It is also the world’s smallest 4G smartphone. The device comes in Pearl White, Sky Blue, and Space Black color options. The Jelly comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, while the Jelly Pro sports 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage.

Talking about the design, it comes with bigger bezels and looks bulky by measuring 13.3 mm in thickness. Since not many want to replace their primary phone with Jelly, it is one of the best alternatives to using it as a secondary device. Considering its tiny form factor, the user doesn’t need to compromise over the specs. It got all the basics right and also runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. However, don’t think of trying the new split-screen multitasking feature on this device. Beneath the polycarbonate back cover is the 950mAh removable battery that can give up to 3 days of usage and lasts up to 7 days in standby mode.

The Jelly has two SIM card slots along with a MicroSD card slot for expanding the storage up to additional 32GB. If you want to photos with this tiny device, the company is offering an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP selfie camera on the front. The 2.45-inch display comes with 240 x 432 pixels resolution. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3.5mm Audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. On the rear, we can also find the Unihertz branding and loud speaker. The MicroUSB port and power button are placed on the right edge, and the volume rocker can be spotted on the left edge.

Coming to the pricing, the Jelly is priced at $79 (Approx Rs. 5,000), and Jelly Pro comes with a price tag of $95 (approx Rs. 6,000). There are few early bird offers, which can bring the price even lower. Unihertz has promised to start shipping of the Jelly and Jelly Pro for its backer from the month of August. The Unihertz’s Jelly looks similar to 2015 launched Posh Micro X S240 that came with the very basic specifications. It was then acclaimed as the world’s smallest smartphone and supports only 3G bands. If you like this world’s smallest 4G smartphone, you can back the device from this link.
