Samsung Galaxy S8 Active Photo spotted without a dual-curved screen
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
The latest flagship model from the South Korean Giant is a compact device that came with some new features that include the infinity display. After the launch of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, Samsung is now planning to bring its Galaxy S8 Active as it is listed by Wireless Power Consortium. From the image that we have got, we can clearly see that the handset misses the curved edges that we have seen on its siblings Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.
The images also suggest that the device will not be having the home button that we have seen on almost all the Samsung devices and we can also find a Bixby button on the left of the device along with the volume rockers while the power button can be found on the right side of the handset. The sensors on the top look similar to what we have found on the Galaxy S8. According to the listing, this device sports the model number SM-G892A and is confirmed to come with wireless charging technology as it is been spotted on Wireless Power Consortium.
Well, we are not sure if the Galaxy S8 Active will come with the infinity display but is surely lacking the bezel-less display that we have seen on the Galaxy S8 if the image we got is considered to be true. Few sources also suggest that the handset might be limited to the U.S initially but need to wait for few more days until we get some official information from Samsung to know more about the device. Nothing about the pricing and the availability of the Galaxy S8 is known yet.
This new handset could be priced lesser than the original Galaxy S8 and might come into the market soon. Do you like the new Galaxy S8 design? Did you get this flagship model from Samsung? Do drop a comment in the section below and stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more news around the same.
