Huawei Mate 10 Will Have Full Screen Display, Better Camera & Battery, CEO Confirms

You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Huawei will be launching the new Mate 10 smartphone in a couple of months, possibly around IFA 2017. Not a lot about this device was known until the CEO confirmed a few things early today. Yes, the CEO confirmed that the upcoming Huawei Mate 10 will sport a full-screen display on the front, better camera sensors, and a better and long lasting battery as well. He also confirmed that the company will not be manufacturing low-end smartphones.

From the past couple of weeks, we have been hearing a lot about the company launching a bezel-less smartphone and it looks like it is going to be the Huawei Mate 10. With the Mate 10, the company is all set to join the other manufacturers like Samsung, LG, etc. and bring their bezel-less option to the market. The CEO also confirmed that the Mate 10 will sport a better camera and it will be equipped with long lasting batteries as well.

For those of you wondering, the Huawei Mate 10 will be launched in and around the same time when Apple will unveil the iPhone 8. And with the launch of the Mate 10, it looks like Huawei is planning on hitting the iPhone hard. It is a known fact that Huawei is sitting on the third position as leading smartphone manufacturers after Samsung and Apple. With Mate 10, Huawei is planning on taking over Apple in North America.

Also, judging by the rumors, the Huawei Mate 10 seems to be shaping up as a great device. It is expected that the smartphone will sport a 6-inch display on the front. This is again expected to be a narrow display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Internally, the smartphone is expected to be powered by the Kirin 970 chipset that is expected to sport an octa-core processor. It is expected that the dual rear camera setup will make a comeback. Other than that, we don’t have a lot of info about the smartphone. Eventually, this smartphone will make its way to other markets as well and we hope the pricing is not too high so that users will consider buying this over the much expensive iPhone 8.
