It runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with the highly customized Amigo UI laid on top. The physical home button on the front also comes integrated with a fingerprint sensor.
The USP of the Gionee A1 Plus is dual rear cameras, it sports a 13MP with f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture. For selfies, there is a 20MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and wide-angle lens. It also includes LED flash on front and back for capturing better selfies in low-light conditions. The IR blaster is normally placed on the top edge but the Gionee A1 Plus features it on the rear where it is integrated into the LED flash. With the all these high-end specifications, the Gionee A1 Plus is backed by a 4,550mAh non-removable battery that can easily give more than day long usage.
It also supports 18W ultra fast charging with the built-in dual charging chips. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3.5mm Audio port, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port.
