Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) Running Android 7.1.1 Nougat Spotted On GFXBench
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A5 (2017) and the Galaxy A7 (2017) a few months back in India. Both of these are decent offerings when it comes to the specs and the price at which they are being offered at. Although it has been a couple of months the since the launch here in India, it looks like we will be seeing a new variant of the smartphone being launched very soon.
According to the new report which we have, a new Galaxy smartphone carrying the model number SM-A730x has now been spotted on the GFXBench website. Now, for those of you who don’t know, the Galaxy A7 (2017) had a very similar model number i.e. SM-A720 and even the 2016 variant had something similar. Hence this makes us believe that the device in question is indeed the Galaxy A7 (2018). And since we are talking about a listing on a benchmark website, we do have some specs to report about.
The benchmark listing says that the smartphone will sport an FHD display on the front. However, the exact display size is not known yet. In terms of the internal hardware, it looks like this new device will be powered by an octa-core SoC clocked at 2.1GHz. This is expected to be coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Coming to the optics, it looks like it will sport a 16-megapixel rear as well as front-facing sensors. And we are looking at Android 7.1.1 Nougat software.
Talking about the specs, it is not majorly different than the current variant which is out in the market. The A7 (2017) also sports the same 16-megapixel front as well as rear-facing cameras. However, it only has 3GB RAM, which looks like it has been bumped up to 4GB. As of now, there is no other info as to when it will be launched or in what markets will this smartphone be available. However, we hope to learn more about it in the coming days and weeks and we suggest you stay tuned to us, to be the first one to know when there is more info about it. Having said that, be sure to let us know your thoughts on this.
