Samsung Galaxy S8 Active Training Manual Leaked, More Photos & Details Revealed

You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

Yesterday, we had reported about the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, where we saw a high-res image of the device. And today, we have yet another leak and this time, we have a detailed look at the device. Not just that, a few features like Bixby and Military Grade protection, etc. have now been confirmed. Yes, the source has managed to get their hands on a training manual of the Galaxy S8 Active which has a bunch of device imagery and a few other details.

As you can see from the images, the Galaxy S8 Active is shown off from the sides. The image which we had reported yesterday showed the device only from one side and hence this should give a proper look at the device. The training manual for the employees also talks about Bixby and IP68 certification as well. All the images are embedded below and you can click on each one of them and take an expanded look at them.

Now talking about the details, the Galaxy S8 Active will sport a 5.8-inch display on the front with a resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels. This isn’t a curved display and it will be protected by raised margins. It will also have a durable metal frame which will prevent the device when it encounters drops, etc. And as mentioned earlier, it will pretty much sport all the same internals as that of the regular Galaxy S8 variants. If anything, the Galaxy S8 Active will be heavier and bulkier than the regular variant.

The training manual also confirms that Bixby will make a comeback here with the Galaxy S8 Active. For some reason, Samsung is not willing to give up on Bixby, although not many users are keen on using it as a feature. Apart from that, the device will also have IP68 certification for dust and water resistance and this is no surprise since every active variant of the Galaxy smartphone is meant for users with an active lifestyle. In terms of the software, it looks like this device will be running Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

Talking about the availability, as we had already reported earlier, AT&T will sell this smartphone in the U.S; however, we don’t exactly know when it will launch officially. Let us know your thoughts on this by leaving a comment down below.
