Samsung Is Said To Launch A 8GB RAM Variant Of The Galaxy Note 8 Phablet
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
Samsung has already announced the launch date of the next Note phablet and we had already reported about it as well. While we wait for the company to officially launch the phablet, the rumors have not stopped coming our way and the latest one claims that the company is planning on launching an 8GB RAM variant as well alongside the already rumored 6GB RAM variant.
This new report comes all the way from China, where a tipster has reported on Weibo saying that the company is planning for the launch of this particular variant in question as well. According to the report, it looks like this particular variant will be available in South Korea and China, just like how they launched a 6GB RAM variant of the Galaxy S8 Plus there initially. The report also says that this will be called the Galaxy Note 8 Emperor Edition and it has also been reported that this variant will sport 256GB of internal storage as well.
However, it looks like the 256GB internal won’t be exclusive to the alleged Emperor edition, it looks like even the 6GB RAM variant will come with the same. Additionally, it has also been reported that the Galaxy Note 8 will be offered in three different color options, i.e. Black, Grey, and Blue. And talking about the other specs, the Galaxy Note 8 is expected to sport a bezel-less Infinity display like the Galaxy S8 smartphones. Obviously, the size is expected to be bigger in comparison.
Internally, it is expected that device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 SoC and as mentioned earlier, two variants are expected with 6GB RAM as well as the one with 8GB RAM. In terms of the camera, a dual rear setup is expected which will be the first of its kind for Samsung. The fingerprint scanner is also expected to be moved to back just like the new Galaxy S8 smartphones. Do make a note that none of this info has been officially confirmed just yet and hence we suggest you wait for an official announcement. However, be sure to let us know your thoughts on this by leaving a comment down below.
