Intex Aqua S1
The Intex Aqua S1 and Cloud C1 are the two latest low-cost smartphones launched by the second largest Indian smartphone manufacturer. Both the Intex Aqua S1 and Cloud C1 are priced at Rs. 3,999 and Rs. 3,499 respectively. Talking about the Aqua S1, it comes with a 5-inch FWVGA ()854 x 480 pixels) display, MT6737V quad-core processor, and Mali-T720 GPU. It also comes equipped with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable storage. In the camera department, there is a 5MP camera on the front and rear of the device. The 2,300mAh battery on this device is mentioned to last up to 200 hours on standby. It comes with dual SIM support and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM Radio, and MicroUSB 2.0 port. The Aqua S1 measures at 145.4 x 73.1 x 10.1 mm and weighs 157.7 grams. It is exclusively sold via Amazon India and comes in Black and Champagne Gold colors.
Swipe Elite VR
Swipe, the homegrown low-cost smartphone manufacturer, has launched a new smartphone under the Rs. 5,000. The all-new Swipe Elite VR is priced at just Rs. 4,499 and is available exclusively through Shopclues. As the name suggests, the Elite VR comes bundled with a VR headset for watching the VR content. The smartphone comes with a polycarbonate body and sports a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display on the front. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC clocked at 1.3GHz coupled. There is also 1GB of ROM to look after the basic usage. In the camera department, there is a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for taking selfies.With all these specifications, the 3,000mAh battery on the Elite VR should easily more than a day long usage. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and MicroUSB 2.0 port.
Intex Aqua Note 5.5
The Aqua Note 5.5 is one of the very few smartphones under Rs. 5,000 to feature 5.5-inch screen size. It is priced at Rs. 4,999 and is available exclusively on Amazon India. The smartphone is available only in a Gold color option. The device sports a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and comes powered MediaTek MT6737V quad-core processor SoC. It comes coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be further expandable using a MicroSD card slot. It sports an 8MP camera on the rear with dual-tone LED flash. For selfies, there is a 5MP shooter on the front with single LED flash. It is kept powered on by a 2,800mAh battery that is rated to give up to 10 hours of talk time and lasts up to 500 hours on standby mode. It measures 153×77.5×10.3mm and 177 grams. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM radio, GPS, A-GPS, USB OTG, 3.5mm headphone jack, and MicroUSB 2.0 port.

The Elite 4G is yet another low-cost smartphone from Swipe priced at Rs. 3,999. It is also one of the most affordable smartphones to offer Gorilla Glass protection. The smartphone comes with a 5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) display and is powered by an unspecified quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. Just like any other low-cost smartphone, the Swipe Elite 4G also offers 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. With the included MicroSD card slot, the user can be expanded the storage additionally up to 64GB. It runs on Android 6.0.1. Marshmallow and packs a few bloatware which further decreases the available storage on this device. The Swipe Elite 4G also packs an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, and a 2,500mAh battery. It measures 145.2 x 73.0 x 9.6 mm and weighs around 147 grams. The volume rocker and power button are placed on the right edge of the device.

Under the hood is an unspecified quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage. However, the smartphone comes with a MicroSD card slot for expanding the storage up to 64GB. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and supports dual SIM dual standby. In terms of optics, the Aqua Lions 2 sports a 5MP autofocus camera on the rear and a 5MP fixed focus camera on the front. It is backed by a 2,400mAh battery and measures 8mm in thickness. The Aqua Lions 2 is priced at Rs. 4,599 and is sold through offline stores. It comes in Champagne and Gold color options.
