Intex Aqua A4+ Smartphone with 4G VoLTE Support Launched for Rs. 3,999

You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

In the last couple of months, Intex has launched almost half a dozen smartphones under Rs. 5,000.  Today, the company has launched yet another low-cost smartphone called as Intex Aqua A4+ smartphone. It is the successor to earlier launched Aqua A4 and comes with 4G VoLTE support. It is priced at Rs. 3,999 and will be sold through retail stores across the country.  The device will be available in Black and Champagne Gold color options. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and comes with 4G VoLTE support for using with the Jio 4G SIM.

The device sports a 4.5-inch display on the front with FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) resolution. Under the hood, the Aqua A4 Plus comes powered by Spreadtrum SC9822 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. It also packs 1GB of RAM which should be good enough for basic usage. The device includes just 8GB of internal storage but comes with a MicroSD card slot for expanding the storage additionally up to 64GB. There are few pre-loaded bloatware apps like Xender, Amazon Prime Video, and Gaana which further decreases the available storage on this device.

Talking about the cameras, the Aqua A4 Plus sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front camera for selfies. It draws the juice from a 2,000mAh battery and is rated to give up to 8 hours of talk time and lasts up to 300 hours on standby. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and MicroUSB 2.0 port. Both the power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge of the device. Beneath the display are the three capacitive navigation buttons for back, home, and multi-tasking (from left to right).

Last week, the company launched the Intex Cloud C1 and Aqua S1 smartphones for Rs. 3,499 & Rs. 3,999 respectively. Both these devices are exclusively sold through Amazon India. Just like the new Aqua A4 Plus, the Aqua S1 and Cloud C1 also supports 4G VoLTE and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.
