You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

The Eluga I4 is the latest smartphone from Panasonic to launch in India. It comes with a price tag of Rs. 8,290 and is the successor to last year’s Eluga I3 smartphone. The device sports a metal body and comes in Blue, Black, and Gold color options. Unlike the recently Eluga Ray 500 and Eluga ray 700, the Eluga I4 will be sold through offline stores across the country. The physical home button below the display comes with an integrated fingerprint sensor. On the front is a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display with a 2.5D curved glass on the top.

Under the hood is the MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor clocked at 1.25GHz and comes coupled with Mali-T720 GPU. The smartphone also includes 2GB of RAM and 16GBof internal storage. However, there is a dedicated MicroSD card slot for expanding the storage up to 128GB. It also supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G VoLTE connectivity. In the camera department, there is an 8MP rear camera with a quad LED flash and a 5MP selfie camera on the front. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with the almost stock UI on top.

With all these specifications, the 3,000mAh battery should give a decent battery life. The Eluga I4 measures 146.7 × 71.3 × 8.3 mm and weighs 150.7 grams. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG, 3.5mm audio jack, and MicroUSB 2.0 port. At a slightly higher price of Rs. 8,999, the Eluga Ray 500 offers dual camera setup featuring 13MP sensor with 5P lens and f/2.0 aperture and 8MP sensor with 6P lens and f/2.4 aperture. Though it is powered by the same Mediatek MTK6737 processor, it includes 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

It is also backed by a bigger 4,000mAh non-removable battery. Since the Eluga Ray 500 is exclusively sold through Flipkart, all these benefits are restricted to those who can only order the device online.
