MediaTek MT6739 Quad-core Processor Announced in India with dual VoLTE for Budget Smartphones

At the India Mobile Congress 2017 held in Delhi, MediaTek has announced the MT6739 SoC which will be the companies latest SoC for the entry-level devices and also for mid-range 4G handsets. This is the successor of the MT6737 MediaTek processor launched last year and is also the successor of the MT6735 which was launched back in 2014. The company also introduced Helio P23 Octa-core 16nm SoC with Dual VoLTE for the market in India. Moreover, the devices with MediaTek MT6739 and Helio P23 will be available in the country and also Global market by the end of this year.
The features of this processor are, 1.5 GHz ARM quad-core Cortex-A53 64-bit CPUs and 570 MHz IMG PowerVR GE8100 GPU. It also supports up to 3GB LPDDR3 RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage. Also supports 1080p, 30fps video playback, H.265 and legacy H.264. Moreover, this has the same 64-bit quad-core, ARM-A53 CPU, and clocks at 1.5GHz per core and used the IMG PowerVR GE8100 GPU that supports up to 1440 x 720 pixels HD+ 18:9 display and dual VoLTE and DSDS (Dual sim dual standby).
Other features this processor carries are WorldMode LTE FDD/TDD Cat-4 (DL) / Cat-5 (UL) modem with integrated RF to support C2K SRLTE, 13MP camera image signal processor with Faster Auto Focus, NR, Luma/Chroma Noise Reduction, Native dual camera function and Carrier Aggregation (CA), A (SRLTE), EDGE, FDD / TDD LTE, GSM, TD-SCDMA, WDCDMA, CDMA2000 1x/EVDO Rev. Apart from these, it also supports Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS+Glonass, GPS+Beidou and Cat-4 DL up to 150 Mbps and Cat-5 Upload up to 50Mbps.
