ChampOne launches a 4G Smartphone at Rs 501 with Fingerprint Scanner & 2GB RAM

We have seen a lot of affordable smartphones previously. When it comes to budget smartphones, the first thing that comes to our mind is Freedom 251. Well, it was in the news for quite some time, at the time of the announcement. But soon after that, everything went down, and nobody heard anything about the device at all. And now after all this, we have yet another smartphone which is priced at just Rs. 501. This device is called the ChampOne C1.

ChampOne Communications is the company behind it, which is a certified company with MCA India. This is the first-ever smartphone by the company for it’s ‘Made in India’ campaign. So now let’s talk about the device and it’s specs now. The device is powered by a 1.3 Quad Core processor. It also packs a 2GB of RAM and packs 16GB of onboard internal storage. It features a 5-inch IPS display on the front. In terms of the camera, we are looking at an 8-megapixel rear facing camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. So looking at the specs, this device looks pretty decent. And that too the price for which it is offered. And most importantly it also features a ‘Fingerprint scanner’.

Also, note that the device for this price is secured for sales promotion only. So once it is launched, the handset will be available for around 8000 INR.
