Xiaomi, the Chinese manufacturer, is rumoured to release the second iteration of its Mi Note handset. The device has been in the rumour mill since quite a time. Now a screenshot of the supposed Mi Note 2 might confirm some specifications.
In the image leaked you can see that device would be running on Android 7.0 Nougat based interface. We know for a fact that Xiaomi devices come with MIUI and from the image leaked, it is suggested that Mi Note 2 would be running on MIUI 8.6.8.26.
According to the screenshot, the rumoured device might be coming with Snapdragon 820 processor, which could be clocking 2.15 GHz. It is also suggested that we may finally see a 6GB RAM on a Xiaomi device. The internal storage is said to be 64GB and 52.28GB available for the user.
Other specifications are not leaked, but it can be suggested the upcoming Mi Note 2 smartphone might sport a 2K display and a large at least 5.5-inch display. While Mi 5 wasn’t launched we a 2K display, it can be possible that Xiaomi would fulfil it’s fans demand, this time, around.
Though we are doubtful as what appears to be the date of Android security patch; it is dated as 1st September 2016. It could be or could not be possible. We recommend you take above information with a grain of salt.
The brand doesn’t have a calendar of when they announce the upgrades. But looking at Xiaomi’s ambition to showcase the world it’s expertise in smartphone manufacturing; we may see the Mi Note popup at IFA even in Berlin as Mi 5 did at MWC Expo in Barcelona earlier this year.
