OPPO R9s Smartphone with 5V/4A VOOC Flash Charge Support Gets 3C Certified
OPPO R9 and R9 Plus that are launched in March this year are the best selling smartphones in the first half of 2016 in China. From the last few months, there are rumors about the OPPO R9s smartphone which will be the successor to the popular OPPO R9 & R9 Plus. The device can be expected to launch in the next few weeks as it is now 3C certified. As of now, there are no other details known about the device. However, the 3C certification revealed the device to come with 5V/4A VOOC flash charge support.
At the MWC 2016, the company showcased the SuperVOOC flash charging technology which can charge a 2,500mAh battery from 0% to 100% in just 15 minutes. As it been six months, we also expect the OPPO R9s to feature the Super VOOC Flash Charge technology. We also expect the device to come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Color OS. The OPPO F1s that was launched last month also came with Android 5.1 Lollipop based ColorOS 3.0.
The OPPO R9 was launched in the Indian market as OPPO F1 Plus. The OPPO R9s is also rumored to feature the similar design as OPPO R9 and R9 Plus. If the rumors are to be believed, the OPPO R9s will be powered by Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz and coupled with Adreno 306 GPU. The device sports the same 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution display but we aren’t sure whether the device will feature AMOLED panel or not.
It is said to pack 13MP rear camera, 16MP front camera, and a 2800mAh battery. The fingerprint sensor will be embedded into the physical home button on the front. Recently, OPPO also launched the OPPO F1s mid-range smartphone with 5.5-inch HD display. It is priced at Rs. 17,999 and comes with similar cameras as on OPPO F1 Plus. It is powered by MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor and packs 3075mAh battery. There is also 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage along with MicroSD card slot.
