Qualcomm introduces the new 410E & 600E Processors for innovative IoT Gadgets
If you have little knowledge about the smartphone industry then you probably already know about the existence of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 and the 600 processors. They are widely available in the market for other manufacturers to purchase and use them in their devices and we do have some of them available. But they are quite old pieces of hardware and definitely needed an upgrade. Well, Qualcomm certainly knows this and has now decided to step up their games here.
The US Semiconductor manufacturer has just introduced the successors to the Snapdragon 410 and the 600 called the 410E & 600E respectively. But these are developed keeping IoT in mind. And hence these are designed for the same gadgets. So from now on, whatever innovative home improvement gadgets you will see, the chances are that those devices might be powered by either of these guys right here. We already have many of these devices and now get ready to see more of them.

Not just that, the company also announced its partnerships with the Arrow Electronics to bring these two new chips to smaller business as well. Which is a great news right? Regardless of what size company you have, if you are working on some gadgets for the IoT, then you will have access to these two new processors. On this, the company also reported that even small orders with even as low as 100 units would also be delivered. This goes to say how keen the industry giants are to see more and more new products of this sort.
Talking about the details of the processors, the Snapdragon 410E is a 1.2Ghz quad-core system-on-chip (SoC) with an Adreno 306 GPU, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and support for 802.11 b/g/n specifications for wireless local area networks (WLANs). The 600E, on the other hand, is a bit more powerful which comes with a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, Adreno 320 GPU, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac support.
