Reliance Jio, the company that has been the talk of the town since quite a time now has launched another one of their new products. The company has quietly rolled out a new Wi-Fi Hotspot that is powered by USB port instead of in built battery. This new Jio Dongle 2 looks like a stick and is available for purchase on select Reliance Digital and Authorised third party stores.
The new Jio Wi-Fi Hotspot is the third device after JioFi 2 and JioFi with OLED display made available by company. Interestingly, all these three models are priced similar at Rs 1999. The new device is said to have two indicator having four color, where one is for Wi-Fi and another is for 4G signal strength.

The Jio Dongle 2 can create a hotspot like other Jio device. The main difference being about battery, as the Dongle 2 doesn’t have a battery pack included inside, while other two Jio devices comes with 2300 and 2600 mAh capacity battery respectively. The device can connect up to 10 Wi-Fi enabled to internet using JIO network. Do make a note that it comes with a warranty of 1 year.
Moreover, like other JioFi devices, users can make HD voice calls from their non-4G handsets using Jio4GVoice app once they are connected to the Jio Wi-Fi Hotspot. The device comes in a retail packaging of cylindrical shape. According to the retail packaging, the commodity inside it is called Mobile Router JDR810, which is the model number of the Dongle 2.
