Intex Aqua Strong 5.2 Smartphone with 2800mAh Battery Launched at Rs. 6,390

Every week, the Indian smartphone manufacturer Company, Intex have been launching at least one smartphone. Recently, this brand had launched the Intex Aqua Raze II and Intex Aqua Pro 4G smartphones that came with basic level specifications at an affordable price in the category of aqua series. On the same lines, Intex has launched yet another new handset called the Intex Aqua Strong 5.2 which will be adding the other smartphones in the Aqua series.

It is priced at Rs. 6,390. It is the upgraded version of Intex Aqua 5.1 smartphone that was launched Aug 2016 and priced at Rs. 4,999.The company launched the flagship smartphone called as Intex Aqua S7 that was launched last month in India and is priced at 9,499 INR. All these smartphones are offering from entry level to budget-level devices, which offers a good value for the money as they are usually priced below 10,000 INR.

The tagline of the smartphone is Brains with Brawns and comes powered by MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor that clocks at 1.0 GHz accompanied by Mali T720 MP1 GPU. It features a 5.0-inch IPS screen with the resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and offers a pixel density is 196 PPI. There is also has a Corning Gorilla Glass 2 that protects your device from scratches and minor drops. It also has a Screen-to-body ratio underwhelming up to 67.47% and two-finger touch.

Regarding camera department, it packs a 5-megapixel fixed focus rear camera with LED flash that captures moments so detailed and real. It can record video in 720p at 30 frames per second and has a 2-megapixel fixed secondary focus camera for selfies and video chatting. The other camera features include Smile Detection, Face Beauty, Panorama Mode and Voice Capture. The device has only one sensor that is Accelerometer Sensor and comes with RoHS complaint.

There is a built-in memory of the smartphone is 16 that includes the memory used for OS and apps. With the ability to use microSD memory cards up to 32 GB and 2 GB of RAM. It is backed by a capacity removable battery 2800 mAh that is rated to deliver a talk time up to 16 hours on 3G / 4G & 22 hours on 2G and lasts up to 220 to 466 hours of standby time. It is measured by a 141.2 x 72.3 x 9.47 mm in dimensions and is weighing around 150 grams.

It runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with pre-installed applications. Connectivity options on Intex Aqua Strong 5.2 include Dul SIM, 4G LTE as well as VoLTE (Voice over LTE) support, which offers faster download and upload speeds. You can use the JIO SIM card connection with this handset as it supports VoLTE. Other connectivity options are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS and microUSB port.

The Intex Aqua Strong 5.2 smartphone will be availble in Blue, White and Champagne color variants. It has Acceleormeter sensor, Emergency, Miracast and MiraVision. Recently, the company had introduced the Intex Cloud Q11 smartphone which comes bundled with support for Virtual Reality (VR) and priced at 4,699 INR and is available for buy on Amazon India.
