Huawei to unveil its EMUI 5.1 at MWC alongside its P10 & P10 Plus Smartphones

On February 26th, Huawei has scheduled an event in Barcelona where it will be unveiling its latest offerings, the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus along with its new smartwatch. The company also decided to unveil its latest EMUI 5.1 as it has posted a teaser image on the popular Weibo page. The successor of the EMUI 5.0 will come with many new updates, and we can expect these two new devices to come with the latest offering based on Android Nougat.
Coming to the specifications of the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus, these devices will be will be featuring a 5.5-inch QHD display and will also come with 40W fast charge technology. There is a fingerprint scanner placed on the rear and will be backed up with 6GB of RAM memory along with Kirin 965 processor. According to earlier leaks, Huawei P10 will cost 3,488 Yuan ($500) for the 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage variant. While the 64GB and 6GB variant which might cost 4,088 Yuan ($683).
The P10Plus will be coming in 4GB/64GB as well as 6GB/128GB variants which will be costing 4998 Yuan ($725) and 5,688 Yuan ($828) respectively. These devices will be made available in the company’s home country initially and then will be rolled out globally later. The flagship device will be coming in Green and Purple color variant and was also expected to feature QHD display.
It is also anticipated that the P10 will come with 12MP primary camera accompanied with 8MP camera on the front but not sure about the secondary rear camera. Alongside these flagship devices, Huawei is also going to unveil its smartwatch (Watch 2) and will run on Google’s Android Wear 2.0 Operating system.
