You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

Nubia confirmed its presence at the upcoming Mobile World Conference that will be held from February 27th to March 2nd in Barcelona. However, the company hasn’t confirmed the launch of any specific device. The company has roped in Cristiano Ronaldo as its brand ambassador, but their devices haven’t gained much popularity like the other Chinese brands. The flagship Nubia Z11 is one good device from the company, and it was even priced very aggressively here in India. As of now, there is no information about the new smartphone that will be showcased at the MWC.

Since the company launched the Nubia Prague S at the last year’s MWC event, this we expect the company to launch its successor, Nubia Prague S2. Talking about the Prague S, it came with a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD resolution. The bezel-less edges on the side also support gestures using the Frame Interactive Technology (FiT). It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor and includes 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. At that time, the Prague S came with a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.

In case, the company brings the Prague S2 at the MWC event, we will be better high-end hardware. The Nubia smartphones run on the in-house Nubia UI. While the side-by-side multitasking in implemented by Google with the latest Nougat update, Nubia UI  has the same option from the last two years. Nubia’s parent company, ZTE already confirmed to launch the Android Wear 2.0 powered smartwatch along with the 5G supported Gigabit Phone. With the Gigabit phone, the user can get the 1Gbps download speeds.

According to the company, it will be good for the cloud storage, 360-degree panoramic VR videos, and also for consuming multimedia like Hi-Fi music and movies. Another Chinese manufacturer, Huawei will be launching their all new Huawei P10 and Honor 8 Pro smartphones with dual lens camera. The Huawei continues to use the Leica branded dual camera lens on their latest P-series smartphones. The leaked press renders already revealed the design of the device. The Huawei P10 also sports front fingerprint sensor.

Unlike Huawei, Nubia is yet to announce its press conference schedule. Samsung, LG, Lenovo, and Sony will be holding their press conferences on February 26th while Gionee will be launching their new Gionee A1 and A1 Plus smartphones on February 27th. Since the launch event is just 10 days, we will be getting more leaks in the coming days. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar to know them first.
