Reliance Jio 100 Million Customers Announcement by MD Mukesh Ambani

Reliance Jio kick started its operations in India on September 5th, 2016 and its been a couple of months now since the official announcement. Currently, the telecom operator is offering free voice ad data to the users under the “Happy New Year” offers along with a couple of other services as well. Now that we are close to the end of the “Happy New Year” offer, Jio is all set to start offering the services with the tariff plans starting April 1st. However, the news of the hours is that the Reliance Jio’s customer base has crossed 100-million customer mark.

The Chairman and managing director Mukesh Ambani has made the official announcement in the press conference today about the same. Jio customer base has crossed 100-million mark in just 170 days of the commercial launch which is a remarkable milestone by itself. This announcement is coming just a couple of months after the announcement of the telecom operator crossing 50 million mark in 83 days. According to Mukesh Ambani, around 7 were customers added per second to the network every day since the launch.
