Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) gets updated in India, bring Samsung Pay app

Last week we reported about the plans of the South Korean Giant to launch its Samsung Pay app in India with collaboration with American Express. According to earlier news, the service was expected to be launched by the first half of 2017 and is also expected to partner with Visa and MasterCard for making digital payments. A recent update to the Galaxy Note 5 bought the Samsung Pay app which also teased the Indian users. Now Samsung is rolling out an update to the Galaxy A7 (2016) in India with a firmware version A710Fxxu2BPJ7.
This latest update is a minor update that doesn’t bring much change logs but brings the Samsung Pay app. The update is going to roll out to all the compatible devices across the country in the coming days and should wait and see when the company will be launching its services. Coming to specifications of the Galaxy A7 (2016), let me remind you that the handset comes with a 5.5-inch touch-screen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels. The device is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The onboard memory on the device is 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The camera section packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) runs Android 5.1 and is powered by a 3300mAh nonremovable battery. It measures 151.50 x 74.10 x 7.30 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 172.00 grams. The smartphone accepts a Regular-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, 3G, and 4G.
