Nubia N1 Lite with 2GB RAM & 3,000mAh Battery Launched at Rs. 6,999

You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

At the MWC 2017, Nubia showcased a new budget smartphone called Nubia N1 Lite. Earlier to this, the Chinese company launched the mid-range Nubia N1 with decent specifications and aggressive pricing. The Nubia N1 was launched alongside the flagship Nubia Z11 in India for Rs. 11,999. While not many Chinese manufacturers are now concentrating on the sub Rs, 6,000 priced products, Xiaomi has always been dominating this price bracket with the low-cost smartphones with much superior specifications. Today, Nubia has launched the Nubia N1 Lite in the Indian market for just Rs. 6,999. It will be sold exclusively via Amazon India starting today and comes in Black/Gold color.

It will be facing tough competition from the 2GB RAM variant of the Xiaomi Redmi 4 which is also retailing for Rs. 6,999. Talking about the specifications, the Nubia N1 Lite sports a 5.5-inch display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution offering a pixel density of 267 PPI. It comes powered by 1.25GHz MediaTek 6737 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. While the Nubia N1 Lite uses a MediaTek chipset, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 comes with much better Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor. There is also a MicroSD card for further expansion of storage up to additional 32GB.

Coming to the cameras, there is an 8MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP selfie shooter on the front with f/2.8 aperture and 84-degree wide-angle lens. Both the cameras come accompanied with LED flash for capturing photos even in low light conditions. Just below the rear camera, we can also spot the circular fingerprint sensor that is said to unlock the device in just 0.3 seconds. With all these less powerful specifications, the Nubia N1 Lite should last longer with the 3,000mAh non-removable battery. According to the company, it should give up to 24 hours of talk time and lasts up to 500 hours on standby mode.

Instead of the latest Android 7.0 Nougat, the device runs on Nubia UI based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G VoLTE for accessing high-speed data and HD voice calls. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm Audio port, and a MicroUSB 2.0 While purchasing the Xiaomi Redmi 4via flash sales is very hard; we hope Nubia has enough stock to cater even the high-demand. Earlier this month, the company also launched the Nubia M2 Lite with metal body and high-end specifications for Rs. 13999. In China, the company will be soon unveiling the flagship Nubia Z17 powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more updates about the upcoming Nubia smartphones.
